2003 Beresan Merlot
Wake up and smell the coffee... and bacon! A veritable breakfast on the nose with rich coffee, burnt sugar, smoky bacon, and a cherry danish leading into a silky mouth-feel abounding with blackberries and stone-a-plenty. Since it’s still socially unacceptable to drink wine in the morning, we’d recommend pairing this Merlot with those wild nights where you make breakfast for dinner. *WARNING* Does not pair well with pancakes.
